Step 1: Exporting from HBL Mobile App
HBL Mobile provides an instant digital e-statement feature for all current, savings, and Asaan account holders.
- Open the HBL Mobile App and log in with your credentials or biometric touch ID.
- From the home screen, select your active account card.
- Tap on the three dots or 'More Options' menu and select 'Statement Request' or 'Download Statement'.
- Select your desired time period (e.g. Previous Month, Current Month, or Custom Period up to 6 months).
- Tap 'Download' to save the PDF directly to your device or 'Email Me' to send it to your inbox.
Step 2: Exporting from HBL Internet Banking (Web)
For business accounts, corporate payroll accounts, or periods exceeding 6 months, HBL Web is recommended.
- Log into HBL Internet Banking via your web browser.
- Go to 'My Accounts' -> 'Account Services' -> 'Electronic Statements'.
- Choose your account number and the required date interval.
- Click 'Export' and select PDF.
HBL E-Statement PDF Password Format
If the HBL statement asks for a password upon opening, HBL uses a standard security algorithm based on your customer record:
- Standard Format: First 4 characters of your mother's maiden name in capital letters followed by the last 4 digits of your CNIC (e.g., FATI1234).
- Alternative Format: Date of birth in DDMMYYYY format followed by the last 4 digits of your registered mobile number.
